not sure if this belongs here or on The Shed, but at the end of the England game the commentator said 'keep the kids off school tomorrow, let your boss know you wont be in, you deserve it' No you really really don't deserve it, your colleagues certainly don't.

My mother in law has already had her surgery cancelled due to people not turning up for work, if it were rescheduled for the coming Monday I would cancel it for her. Tim will face hell on the wards tomorrow, Sunday and now Monday because people will not turn up for work. My Luke and other people like him, rely on care staff, thankfully management have contingency plans in place for tomorrow and Monday, but why should they?

Didn't see the match or hear the commentators, but if that was what was said, it's totally out of order.
I spoke to Master O around 7:45 just before he was due to go on night shift at his Sussex hospital's A&E, and no, he wasn't looking forward to it.

totally agree with everything you said.... what an utterly daft comment to have made; and I agree he should be pulled up on it. I didn't watch the game so not even sure what channel it was on, but may be an idea to contact that channel and make an official complaint
