Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 12 Jul 2022, 04:18

Good morning.

Another gorgeous hot day. 8-)

Don's heading to the airport today for a mid morning flight to East Midlands airport.
As it's one of Ryanair's strike days he's no idea if it'll go ahead but needs to go through the process of checking in etc and waiting to see.

We'll be in constant contact and if it goes ahead I'll get the airport bus to the airport to meet him.
Craig's got a site meeting in Stoke today otherwise us two would've driven there to meet him.

I'm being my usual optimistic self and hope Don gets over...more for him as he's looking forward to seeing Craig, Ed & the new baby and his friends in Birmingham.
Fingers crossed.... :P

Hope you all have a great day.

Morning Ally, Saundra and everyone

No sun today, we have a cloudy, dusty day  Yet more dust coming in from the Sahara

Keeping everything crossed that Don makes it on the flight and it actually takes off x

Have a snooze this afternoon Saundra xx

I had planned on catching up with the washing this morning, but can't see the point of putting wet washing on to be covered in dust, so that will have to wait another couple of days.

Grumpy has been banned from going out in it, because of his rubbish lungs, so he'll play with the back door lock, which is not doing what it should do

Salad for dinner and left over steak for breakfast

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

The sun is trying to come out.
Watching the weather forecast on BBC no mention of any landmass north of London until you get to Scotland.
Just pottering today. Will get the vaccumm cleaner out nd the duster. No sand inside. Now advising not to wash the car to save water.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s dull and humid here. It was so hard to sleep again last night.

I walked Bill very early, Joe was up when we got back and was about to go for an early run  He’s got three days off work, he’s just left for Cornwall with Amanda and her family as it’s her graduation tomorrow.

Our joined on neighbours are moving today, I really don’t envy them in this weather. I was talking to Simon at 7 when I came back with Bill, he was just finishing off sorting out the garage and was already hot and fed up.

Hope Don manages to get his flight Al.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all, it was raining when we got up but it has stopped now and the sky is clearing so hopefully some sun later. Edward has of course gone to play golf, and I’ll just see where the day takes me. I was to have my second booster today but it’s been pushed back for a couple of weeks as it is not a full four months since I had Covid.

Ally, I hope Don gets to fly today.

Good morning all.
Funny morning, it's very warm but cloudy, and it's spitting with rain.
We will pick Eliza up from nursery in a bit. I've been to have my blood taken this morning and this afternoon I'm off to the occupational therapist about the pain in my hands.
Ally, I hope Don gets his flight. Yes, Saundra, have a nap if you can. i like the sound of your breakfast Jan!
Jo, it's certainly not the best day to be moving house.
I didn't know that about Covid, Osc.
The BBC get on my nerves a bit Cruiser. Yes, it's warm but they seem to want everybody in a permanent state of alarm. Like Peter Kay said "Yes, it's hot. It's summer, have a Solero!"
Have a good day all.
