Good morning.

Will get my packing done this morning then walk into town for a couple of very last bits and meet a friend for a wee cocktail. :D

Couple of beers tonight with Craig and his crowd of chums at the local pub. :?

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Wet. We had a little sun earlier, but the clouds and rain are here for the day. Not that warm either

Happy shopping the pair of you.

Cooking head on this morning. Red onion chutney, beef bourginon and chicken curry.

Out for dinner tonight.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all, it’s bitterly cold with a heavy frost here.

It’s Bill’s 11th birthday today so he’s been for his birthday walk, he reluctantly left his new toy at home. John’s booked today and tomorrow off work, not that we’ve got anything planned.

Ally, I can’t believe how quickly your few weeks have gone! Enjoy your last day x

Have a good day all :)

Bright and sunny, but cold brrr

I'm feeling much better today thank goodness, Up early getting ready for my hairdresser appointment. Got a few other bits to do while I'm in town, but should be back for a reasonably easy afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all.

Wishing Ally a safe journey home.

It is still at -2 °C but was a lot colder during the night -4 °C ish.

The council has a scheme to repair or refurbish goods to sell on and help local charities. I have a load of things from vacuum cleaners, radios and crockery to get rid of so I will make a few trips down to the depot. I know that I could put them on Freecycle or Gumtree but I cannot be bothered with the hassle of waiting in for visitors to collect them.

After that, with it being so bright and clear, I will go for a walk around the lake in the local park.

Keep warm and safe everyone.

Afternoon everyone :)

Safe travels home Al :D xxx

Hope you find a nice new telly Cruiser :) xx

Jan, those all sound delicious! ;) xx

Happy birthday to Bill, Jo :D xx

Glad you're feeling better Jen :D xx

Good thinking Crommers ;) xxx

Happy knitting Saundra :) xx

Frank it reached -18 in parts of the Cotswolds last night, apparently!  xx

Well it's a beautiful crisp day here, but still freezing cold. I have a bad back, feel like I've been punched just below my left kidney  Pretty sure it's to do with the arthritis in that hip, and the fact that I woke up to Fraggle lying on the bed leaning on me! I managed to get round Sainsbury's with my trolley, with the help of some painkilling gel of D's, but I'm going to cry off Pilates tonight. Was planning on doing some wrapping this afternoon, but might leave it for another day.

Stay warm everyone xxx
