Good morning.

Sunny and gorgeous with 31° forecast. 8-)

A swim late morning then getting ready to go out for lunch with a couple of friends. Parasol at the ready.

Continued GB Menu finals tonight. It's been a great series. :D

Have a good day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Cool at the moment, but we're in for a couple of rather warm days, hitting 30C during the day, but down to 9C at night

Small pile of ironing to do this morning, in among all the sorting out for our various appointments and trying to get drivers sorted too. My head is spinning

Into Ourique later, for our conversation.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

No parasol needed here Al, just umbrellas :cute:  xxx

Hope you get it all sorted Jan xxx

As mentioned, it's raining here today! Still got another load of holiday washing to do, so the tumble dryer will be busy later. We're going out for breakfast then round to see D for lunch. Back to normal :)

I need to drop my padded coat into the dry cleaners at some point, as I'm hoping to not need it again until next winter - that will probably guarantee snow for next week :P

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning you three and everyone

Kaz, ditto re the umbrella's here - meant to be drizzly / rainy now for the rest of the week :( . My sister arrives Thursday afternoon so I'm keeping fingers crossed we have at least one or two dry days whilst she's here.
Ally I'm so behind on GB Menu - may need to do a binge catch up. It has been an amazing theme and fun to watch; those chefs are sooooo creative. Enjoy your lunch
Jan, hope you manage to get all your appointments sorted and hopefully you find people to help with the driving

Heading into the office in a bit; on days when I don't have to be in early I log on early at home then catch a train at 10am so I save £6 on the train journey. Nothing hugely exciting to report otherwise

Have a lovely day everyone; Jan and Ally - stay cool; everyone else stay dry

Morning all, it’s wet and chilly here. The lovely Spring day yesterday must’ve been a fluke

No plans today. It’s like lockdown here, Joe’s working from home today so I’m creeping around quietly  Tuesday’s his college day but the full timers which he’s in with on Tuesdays plus the tutor are on a college trip to Spain so he’s doing his course work here instead.

Great British Menu has been so good, I’m hoping that Tom Shepherd gets a dish to the banquet. I’d LOVE to eat at his restaurant in Lichfield but it’s constantly fully booked, a friend ate there last year and said the food was incredible.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :D

Showers and overcast

We're off to the cinema to see John Wick: Chapter 4 at 2pm. Lots of action, poor E will have a very sore arm by the time we come out  Afterwards we'll walk round the corner to the Toby Carvery, haven't done that for absolutely ages, it will be a nice treat.

Hope you all have a good day xx

We’re booked to see that tomorrow night Jen, John wants to see it but I’ve never seen any of the others and I’m not keen on films like that.
I’ve booked seats in the back corner so that my Kindle screen won’t annoy anyone
Might have a nap as well seeing as it’s nearly 3 hours long

Afternoon all
A miserable day here, cold, grey and raining.
We have been to the stonemason in South Elmsall to pay for the work he has done (eventually) on MrsC's parents headstone.
The roads round there are shocking. They have speed bumps too, lots of them, but they really aren't needed because the road surface is so potholed and uneven. It would probably be smoother driving on the surface of the moon.
Vic I hope the hospital visit goes OK. Enjoy the carvery Jen!
Have a good day everyone.

Good afternoon. It is nearly good evening.

Some of you can see why I am late posting. Had a very enjoyable lnch with Osc and her husband Edward at Skipton. We kept it quiet in case something
happened and wer didn't get to meet. It rained all the way there and most of the journey home.
Am now relaxing and having a cup of tea.
