Good morning Thursday

Hello and good morning all

Ally, suspect you're either at the airport or en route already - safe travels x

A later start for me today, will be heading into the office but catching a 9.30 train to make it a bit cheaper. It's so quiet in the office - I was originally going in because big boss from the US was due to be in, but his flight was cancelled so he's only arriving tomorrow. But because I've scheduled a few other things for today I still have to go in - sigh

We had such a lovely day yesterday for Nadine's graduation - just lovely to see these old traditions still in place.

Have a lovely day everyone x

Morning Ria, morning everyone

Cold and blowy

Done the pot and new plant watering, long trousers and cardi  and Grumpy is going out to attack a bramble that has got out of control.

General pootling today. Think the pool might be given a swerve, trying to get the cover back on in wind likethis is impossible.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

In a while i'm taking MrsC into Wakefield so she can have a mooch around.
Yesterday we met Beth, our son's new girlfriend. She seems very nice.
Blimey Ally, you have some get up and go!

Nope

The blue sky is back now, but the wind is a strong north westerly  If we reach 30C later today, I'll be surprised.

We're normally high 30's this time of year, maybe verging on the 40's.

Morning all, it’s dull again.

Started off with a lovely long walk with Bill. He chose a route we’ve not done for a long time but I think it was because he was stalking his friend Sable, a beautiful big fluffy GSD, who he’d seen heading in that direction

John’s just called me with the shocking news that one of his colleagues had a heart attack and died last night. It’s so sad, he was such a lovely man. Not old either, early 60s, and being the busy time of year for them he was working away on site. My thoughts are very much with his wife Leanne this morning. We’ve had some good times and laughs with the two of them at office parties over the years.

Safe travels to Ally x

Have a good day all :)

Morning all, hazy sunshine here and incredibly calm. Edward has had toothache since yesterday which made for a restless night, I’m rather tired. He has a dentist appointment for 4.30 this afternoon and says he is ok to go to dance practice this morning, well dosed up on Solpadene. My cousin just phoned from England, telling me that her cousin has died - her cousin also happens to be tbe cousin of one of my best friends (this is Ireland, everyone is connected!) and the cousin was in my school although a few years older. My order from Shein was delivered this morning, two tops, very pleased with them. I need to tidy around before we go out, better get to it.

Hope Ed had a good night. Safe travel, Ally!

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny when I got up, had rain since so another day of not knowing what the weather's doing

Mr. McCulloch saw Ed again this morning and was happy to send him home pending physio's assessment. Unfortunately he had a little wobble when the chap arrived and asked him to stand up. It made him very clammy and feel a bit nauseous, he's not sure why as he'd already walked to/from the loo a few times before the chap turned up. Apparently his BP dropped a little, but not enough to cause concern and he's feeling better now, but to be on the safe side he's staying in for one more night. His transport is booked for 11am tomorrow morning. Tbh much as I want him home I'm a bit relieved he's getting another day, I don't think he's ready for a long car journey and I'd never be able to get him up if he flaked here.

Late getting in here, Ed's been constantly video calling (big mistake showing how that works lol) and then I decided to pop over to M&S before having brekkie. Glad I did it was really quiet and the shelves were fully stocked so I was in/out quite quickly. Time to collapse now 8-)

Hope you all have a good day xx
