Good morning all, it’s foggy and so humid.

We usually walk Bill a bit later on a Saturday and take him to Hednesford Hills but it’ll be too warm by the time John gets back from Park Run so I took him at 6. His walk on the Hills is all part of his routine though so he won’t be very happy when we don’t go, he knows that usually once John gets back and gets ready it’s time to go and he sits in the hall waiting.

Tom’s getting ready to go out and Joe and Amanda haven’t got up yet. Think they’re going to see my Dad later this morning.

Have a good day all :D

That's about it, all cleared now, apart from one little bit. Wasps nest stopped us

Grumpy got stung  so we'll spray it tonight and have another go tomorrow.

Eight barrow loads this morning, so that's my exercise for the day, wheeling them down to the ruin.

Popped down to the bar for a coffee and the cheese van turned up :Hi: so have some lovely fresh cheese for breakfast tomorrow.

Sadly, the brambles got their revenge and we've both got a load of slashes from it

Morning all :D

Another scorcher 8-)

Save drive home Kaz.

We had planned to walk along the clifftop today, but it's getting far too hot (we should have got up earlier  ) so instead we'll have a lazy day sitting under our great big umbrellas in the garden. Ed might go for a little stroll later this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all.
Already hot here, our temperature is set to rise to an Ally-esque 29c!
We've been out to pay MrsC's Uncle Jim's phone bill. On the way back we were coming though a housing estate. On the pavement was an 80-odd year old man, skinny, tanned, knock kneed and bald, wearing nothing but a very skimpy pair of white shorts.

"Blimey", says MrsC, "it's Ghandi!"
Have a great day everyone.

Morning all, it’s mostly overcast here but warm and quite humid. Edward has already had a walk down the harbour, looking at the various stalls and activities getting ready to open for the festival. I’ll go down later, hopefully he will come too and Miss Osc said she might come over with Kellie. I asked my sister was she coming out, with the idea of asking her to stay for dinner, but she immediately put up blocks (the traffic will be terrible, where would I park, the trains will be packed) so I gave up. I’ve done the general tidy around and will take things easy for the rest of the day. Edward will be watching rugby and golf. Miss Osc sent me a little video of Rory McIlroy taking a putt the other day and in the background you can spot myself and Michael. Oh, Miss Osc says she will be on her way in about 10 minutes :D

Hi everyone :)

We actually came back last night, hoping to avoid the bottleneck between Southampton and Winchester that held us up last Saturday. It was a bit slow there, but not too bad. Arrived late and straight to bed. Got up early and unpacked, got the washing on, then we went into the Quays for breakfast. Saundra there were a lot of people in hi-viz down there, obviously getting ready for the cyclists :)

We’ve been round to D’s, then Sainsburys for groceries. Absolutely boiling hot here!

Love to all xxx
