Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunshine at the moment, with a little mist in the valleys and rain forecast for later :Hi:

Off to Ourique after coffee, so Grumpy can see the nurse at the Centro de Saude about his manky skin. Looks a lot better, so hopefully, keep on with the ointment :D :D

Will get some lovely bread in Aldi, to have for breakfast with the scrummy cheese we got yesterday, tomatoes, presunto and, no doubt, a glass of vinho tinto for Grumpy

Giving ourselves a day off today :D

Roast chicken for dinner - not used to oven since about April

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

We're going out for a tapas and beer lunch. :D

Will pick up a rottiseried chicken and crusty bread to have for dinner tonight.

Too hot to cook.

Morning all, it’s a bit hazy and cloudy here but I think the sun is on its way. Mind you, there is lightning and rain forecast for later but it was yesterday also and passed us by. We might wander down to the festival for a while later, and of course there is rugby and golf for Edward to watch. Also Ireland is playing the Netherlands this evening, Miss Osc and family are going to that. I’ll put the towels in the wash, tomorrow I really must get back to some proper h/work.

Morning - just - all, it’s very slightly cooler here but still hot.

We had an early walk on Hednesford Hills with Bill while it was still cool and it rained, it was so refreshing.

I’d like to start cooking dinner but the orange pot of doom is out so I can’t. The orange pot of doom is Tom’s Le Creuset casserole dish which comes out whenever he cooks, and when Tom cooks there’s not a surface in the kitchen which isn’t covered in mess, or a utensil unused, and I can’t work in there while it’s like that. As soon as I see the orange pot of doom I start twitching and my blood pressure rises.

Have a good day all :)
