Morning Al :)

Well it's not meningitis after all, a whole week in and they're now saying Typhoid  :( Unbelievably, to me they've let her home on what is now (hopefully) the correct medication - she's still pretty poorly though :? Her mum is not impressed, can't say I am either :(

It's Friday, so my SW meeting at 9 with Em, then round to D's later with Mick.I

Have a good day everyone xxx

Morning Ally, Kaz and everyone

Cool, cloudy and thunderstorms on their way, apparently

Blimey Kaz, you-d think the hospital would know the difference  Hope she makes more improvement now, plus being at home helps.

More ironing and I-ll do the cleaning too, inside stuff, not going out there in the cold.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you-re doing xx

Good morning from Barcelona! It’s sunny out there. We had a very pleasant time yesterday afternoon/evening. A nice meal and a good wander around in the lovely warmth including coming across a little street festival with live music which we enjoyed. No major plan for today, except go on one of the cable cars, and then we’ll see where our feet take us. There is supposed to be rain tomorrow  which doesn’t go with my “boarding the ship” outfit

Good morning everybody.

We have had rain again. There are still lots of grey clouds so we may have some more. It is 17C but the forecast says it will get warmer.

Going to Chorley again. Will be going to the Post Office. I am sending copies of a report to friends in America. It is a large envelope
so it is will not be cheap.

Osc, enjoy Barcelona, we have been several times when we have been on cruises.

Have a good day everybody.

Hello and good morning all - :D
So sorry I've not been posting much these past two weeks - last week was super busy work wise and then prepping things for my brother and his partner to arrive on Saturday. They left yesterday afternoon so life returns to normal. I didn't log onto any form of social media whilst they were here - it's so nice to be able to have face to face conversations. It was absolutely so lovely and amazing to have them here but it's always very quiet once guests leave :( . We had such an amazing three days visiting a total of five gardens in the Cotswold region - we were absolutely blown away by two of them in particular - Cerney House Garden and Misenden; both private properties that have their gardens open to the public.

Last day of leave for me today - nurse appointment for a general health check in an hour, and then more pootling.

Lots of posts to catch up on - hope everyone is keeping well?

xxxxx

Morning all, we’ve got sunny spells and the temperature is much more comfortable.

I took my secateurs out on the walk this morning, some of the very narrow paths are getting blocked by brambles growing across them so I’ve been pruning as we’ve walked

The Tesco delivery is due later this morning. The covers off the third and final sofa are in the machine and there’s a load of normal washing to do after that. Joe’s working from home today (there are several work parcels in the hall which DHL are collecting this morning, I’m listening out while he’s in meetings) and once he’s finished he’s off to try his new hobby, golf. He bought a second hand set of clubs earlier in the week after he and his friend Zak decided to give it a go, so they’re off to the driving range at the golf club up the road.

We’re seeing Johnny Marr and The Charlatans on Cannock Chase tonight, it’s one of the Forestry Commission concerts. We’d normally walk, it’s only 45 minutes and mostly through the forest, but apparently Johnny Marr starts his set at 7.30 and we’d be cutting it too fine by the time John’s home from work so Joe’s dropping us off.

Kaz, that’s shocking! I hope she’s soon feeling much better now she’s home x

Hope the rain holds off for your outfit Osc

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :D

Lovely and sunny, but a tad windy.

Sadly I'm not surprised G was sent home Kaz, hospitals seem to do that a lot these days :(
Have a lovely cruise Osc.

It's wash day here, I've had a good sort out now we're properly in summer clothes so a few extra loads today. Also expecting a Sainsbury's delivery between 12-1pm. We really don't need much food, but they're doing their 25% off bottles of wine offer, too tempting to resist
I'd like to say we'll be sitting in the garden between washes, but I don't fancy seeing our big umbrella floating over the house tops :o

Hope you all have a good day xx
