Thanks for the thought Kaz, but sadly the French ATC's have thrown a wildcat strike and they've cancelled my flight and a bunch of others. Every airline is stuffed for tomorrow and Vueling are refusing to even say anything before the 28th until 6pm. Too late for me I've cancelled the whole trip as the trains cost more than the flights.

Fortunately I booked with Expedia, when the trip is lost they have to refund me. Even if Easyjet don't refund them. I'm now looking at my options.

Good afternoon,
It is hot and sunny again. Will have to water the plants this evening. Had a short shower yesterday but we seem to be missing the rain.
Went for a pedicure this morning. I always have one before we go on a cruise. Then some shopping.
When I got home after 11.00 a.m , mrs. e said the washing machine had broken. She had managed to get the door open but there was still water inside and it had not done the final spin. So they have had to be put on an airer outside before they are put in the dryer.
Have got someone to come and look a it on Saturday morning. If it is costly to have it repaired we will buy a new one. The existing one is over ten years old, a Bosch WFF2001. It has given god service.
Now relaxing in the shade a the sun is now on the back of the house.
Have a good day everybody

Sorry to hear that Suff :(

It's quite often not worth mending washers these days Cruiser, new ones are so cheap  Maybe it's just something minor though. Have a lovely holiday!

We went out in the end, all the little odd jobs sorted (the bank stuff and Specsavers) B got a few more bits and bobs and we had lunch out, which was nice, just a sandwich and a drink :)

Re booked with Ryanair to Bordeaux. Mrs S will have to come pick me up Sat night and I'll fly back Thurs night but head out there by bike.

I've decided to ask forgiveness, next week, for working from home all week rather than ask for permission this week....
