Good morning all.

It's a lovely sunny morning here, but rain is forecast for this afternoon.

I've had a walk to the paper shop, done the crossword, now going to make a cup of coffee for us both.

Lunchtime we have a guest pianist giving us a programme of old-time favourites in our Owners Lounge.'

This afternoon we will be watching Wimbledon, and hoping rain doesn't stop play.

Hope you are all feeling fine.

If I walked around at 6.30 in the morning, with a glass of wine in my hand, Grumpy would be seriously worried

   Oh, OK then - with a cuppa in that case. Even I would be worried if I saw someone walking around 6.30am with a glass of wine in hand :D
so yes - mornings with a cuppa, evenings with a glass of somethign ;)

Which reminds me of years back when I still worked in Canary Wharf and would catch the bus from Waterloo (pre Jubilee Line days).. we'd pass a pub by Borough Market that was always open and quite busy at 7.30am. It catered to all the night workers that worked at the market so for them the end of day drink would be that time of the morning...

Certain pubs, where we used to live in England, had 24hour drinking a long time before it became law ;) ;)

Suff, you and Grumpy both - it's a Sunday thing for him, but the workers here have a beer with their breakfast  8-)

Afternoon :)
Was lovely, clouded over now and lots of rain due.

I'm sure the effects will be worth seeing Jen :)
Suff a kilt's a lovely thing to have, do they cost a fortune?

I've been a lady wot lunches :D A friend collected me, we drove to Highcliffe and had a walk along the cliff then sat and watched the sea for quite a while.
We were going to eat there but decided everything on the menu was a bit 'big' - no sandwiches, overpriced ciabattas with only 3 fillings.
Instead we came back to Lymington, sat at the yacht harbour and had the biggest sandwiches in the whole wide world :D With chips  :P
So much for 'something smaller'
Oh and you should have seen the cakes!! Sadly no room - next time ;)

Well that wasn't quite the day we planned  I was to bring the car to get a new tyre (only a year old but when it was being serviced last week they found a cut in the sidewall  ) but when I rang to see what time I should bring it in, he said could I bring it tomorrow as they were really busy today. So then we made a split-second decision to go into town as Mr Osc needs a new pair of Birkenstocks - we literally had seven minutes to get out for the bus but made it with time to spare :D Once in town, we thought it might be nice to eat out and not cook this evening, and when the Birkenstocks were bought, we headed to our favourite tapas restaurant, where we had a really lovely meal. Bought some wool on the way back to the bus stop, to make Kellie a little cardi for Christmas. Relaxing now for the evening. There was quite a bit of rain during the day but has cleared now and is quite pleasant out there.
