Good morning monday

Good afternoon all! It's dull and breezy here, the washing is blowing around on the line.

I intended spending time here last night but our internet was dreadfully slow so we all gave up. We've got fibre broadband, which isn't exactly mega speedy here but it's much better than regular broadband, and it was like dial up last night!

I've been to the gym, done a load of washing, walked Bill and then stripped Tom's bed. I'll do our's in a bit and they can be washed tonight ready to go out to dry in the morning. Hovering next and then perhaps a quick walk with Bill. Tonight we're off for a run on the Chase. There'll be some ironing to do at some point too.

Joe went to college this morning and texted me at 9.15 to say that he'd now been issued with his timetable and he's no longer in on Mondays. His Monday class has been moved to Wednesday morning so he's doing a Tuesday afternoon, all day Wednesday, all day Thursday and that's it! He was home just before 10 and is now watching The Green Mile.

Tom posted a video on Instagram of the memorial lights in New York last night, the blue beams reaching into the sky from the site of the Twin Towers. He'd caught the Staten Island ferry in order to see them from a distance.

Hope you're feeling brighter soon Aggers xx

Have a good day all!

Ahhh one of my fave ever movies!

It's a breezy sunny and warm day here - I got a shock this morning, my usual Monday of working alone is not so today - I have Colin, our only man, in with me - and we have no clinic!! We also have a new girl started at our HO - her name is Lynn. I'm   at this fact as we now have two Lynn(e)s, two Emmas and an Anna and an Anne.

Tom's on holiday this week - he's going to be helping out at the farm all week apart from today, although saying that he's there now. I gave him a list of jobs in the garden to do first thing - one of which was to trim the conifers in the front garden, only the hedge trimmer won't work!

Have a good Monday all xx

I love it too Gal, Tom Hanks is my absolute favourite actor.

How funny about the names! Our neighbour's daughter was in the papers a year or so back because there were four Charlottes at the hair salon where she worked.

Aftermoon everyone

No internet at all this morning, obviously a problem with the signal, as we didn't have tv either

Bright sunny day, a slight breeze - lovely.

Not so lovely, our solar went off last night   Good job we have mains lecky too. Johannes is coming round this afternoon, to show us what to do, if it happens again. And explain why ;)

Been into Ourique, paid the tax on the pool, have to go back in Friday to collect the yellow book, which means, we think, that we'll be legal

Hope you feel better soon Aggers xx Doom and gloom everywhere

Enjoy the rest of the day everyone x

Afternoon :)
A very grey start but it's cleared up beautifully, warm, sunny and breezy. Perfect drying weather but the laundry basket's quite empty! :D

Yesterday was lovely, we didn't do much, a nice walk down to the quay to gaze at boats for a while, and a bit of Tesco shopping - less than a fiver's worth though ;) Oh and in the evening watched Room, which appeared on amazon prime for free. Really enjoyed it, which was a relief as I loved the book, definitely well worth seeing :)

Today I've done ironing, which is quite domestic godessish enough for one day :)
Methinks I should do a new ticker, but first need to tell you what it's for>>>to health ;)
Hope you're all having a good day - I don't read the papers Aggers, I watch Breakfast, and we get the Saturday Times. Anything on the news, I look up online if I'm interested.

Don't read the papers Aggers, if the news depresses you. I find it is futile to worry about things over which I have no control ;) (((x)))

Gal that is funny, about the names

Hope MrOsc enjoys his new phone, if he gets one Osc :D

Jo, I'm sure that was quite a sight for Tom, bet he's having the time of his life!

Di, it warmed up beautifully here too, I've had a pleasant lunchtime with Emma, wandering around town :) Good news again at WW, another pound gone :) Becky has a phone interview this afternoon with a kennels in Cheltenham, and is going over there tomorrow morning to have a look around the place and have another chat. Fingers crossed, as this would be an ideal job for her, certainly until she can pass her driving test 8-) ;)
