Afternoon all, very warm and humid here, 22c when we were out in the car. We were out early as we were driving to a golf club a 45 minute drive away to collect vouchers - our dance teacher friend was 50 on Monday and another friend decided to have a whip around among his friends and dance pupils to get him a really good present. N is a lovely guy and hugely liked and respected by all his pupils - J raised €500 :o :o She then thought it would be nice to get him a golf-related gift after consulting Mr Osc, who would be considered the arbiter of all things golf in our group of friends  So she organised the vouchers for the golf club nearest to where N lives as he is talking about joining there, and we volunteered to collect them ahead of tonight's celebratory social. Did our Lidl shop on the way home.

We have the children for a couple of hours this afternoon, then out dancing tonight. It's all go :Hi:

Good afternoon all, after a sunny start it's now dull and humid.

I did some shopping first thing, came home and hung some washing out and then took Billy out for an hour and a half. I've since rebooked a hotel. We'd booked one for LA which looked excellent and had really fantastic reviews...but over the last couple of weeks reviews on Tripadvisor have been really poor so we've been trawling the hotel sites and Tripadvisor for days now, trying to find something good within our budget which would be easy if we only needed one room but we need two. I found one last night which looked excellent and the reviews on Tripadvisor are very good but it's a bit further out, just north of Disneyland. Anyway, I was browsing on my phone while waiting for the bus home this morning when I mistakenly clicked on an ad for this hotel which appeared on a site and my phone actually froze, so I took that as a sign so it's now booked  The original one we'd booked is now cancelled.
The price had actually dropped by £100 on the new hotel overnight so I'm glad we hadn't made a decision last night and as a bonus, seeing as I went via a link on Quidco, we'll get £132 cashback!

Kaz, there's no stopping you now! :Hi:

Hope the scan goes well Di xx

Your Mom and Dad will love that Ally! :D

Enjoy the rest of the day all!

Di, my sister did it when she had a chronic bad back - years ago now - so I'm hoping it might help mine ;) 8-) Hope the scan went ok xxx

Osc, that's a great present!

Jo, that's good about the cash back!!

Bargains there, Ton, from the market 8-)

Good luck with the Golden Oldies night Aggers :)

Well, I got home just in time to get my washing in - it's going to bucket down out there, I reckon  It was nice to catch up with A this morning - short but sweet LOL - and the therapy with my client is going well 8-) :) E got caught up with stuff at home, so no company for lunch in the Quays, but I will see her later at zumba :) It was sunny and gorgeous, if very breezy, out there today 8-) :D No need to buy a yoga mat after all, Mick found my old gym mat that I bought for clients to use when I was teaching hypnobirthing, and its still in good nick, in its bag :)
