Aw thanks Jo - how old did you have her in your mind?

I always said this day would come, when she was exactly half my age.....and I remember the day of her birth like it was yesterday :D

I don't know why but I always think she's still early 20s, still at uni...yet I know that she isn't!

I know what you mean, I can't remember half of what I did yesterday but the days that my two were born are so clear in my mind :D

Afternoon :)
It's cleared up quite nicely here now, maybe we'll get a glimpse of the moon tonight, last night was thick cloud and rain.

Happy birthday to Jen, enjoy your meal out Gal :)
Oh bum Meriad, p'raps it will set him back and he'll be off again tomorrow?

I was up and showered nice and early as I had my hospital appointment by phone at 9.30 - I love this system :D

The kettle was not back in stock today, and indeed seems out of stock everywhere, unless we wanted to go to Portsmough (err no!). It actually looks as though it's being discontinued.
There is a proper little electrical shop in town so we went there, but not in stock there either, although he had several Russell Hobbs. So we decided to abandon the quiet bit, and just get a rapid boil, we couldn't go on long with just a travel kettle.
Since the kitchen has been smartened up, we decided to get a matching toaster (ours has had a busted timer for ages), so it does all look nicer too :)
Also, although the goods are of course full price, because he's independent Bb cheekily asked if we'd get money off for buying both - and we did :D

We'd had a good yomp right the way down and up the town so rewarded ourselves with also walking to the proper bakers and buying Belgian buns, we thought we deserved them :D Bb's working locally so hopefully will be able to pop back for cuppa and cake at some point :)

Ton hope Molly's doing ok xx
