Afternoon all, well it will be by the time I finish this post! I was posting in here earlier, but my brother rang, and after a nice long chat with him, I went off and did other stuff. It is a lovely bright cold day here. Mr Osc has lots of sportwatching on his schedule for the day and we will also pop up to give Michael his birthday pressie and hopefully get some (Horrid Henry) cake. Hard to believe he is seven He is having a joint party with his friend tomorrow in an indoor trampoline place, but thankfully grandparent services are not required Strictly from Blackpool tonight, looking forward to that Have a good Saturday everyone

Well Lilly's visit went really quick lovely to see them then the taxi came 10minutes early to so it was a rush

Afternoon!!

Work this morning, busy and I kept making a mistake during a sale...it was a complicated dispense, the type of thing we don't do often (a varifocal in one eye and a single vision in the other) and I discounted the lenses individually instead of both together Tried cancelling and starting again this tme I forgot to put her sight test on the bill....so had to cancel and start again.....third time lucky!! I had to phone the lady back after she'd gone and explain..... What floored me was the husband of the lady who was in next - he wouldn't shut up chatting!! I don't do multi-tasking.....had to politely ask him to wait till I had rectified my error - and THEN I would chat!!

Gorgeous sunny day - but cold! Black ice on the pavements this morning...didn't realise at first...could've been nasty!!

Happy 7th birthday to Michael, Osc - he is the same age as Lewis now! They grow so fast don't they?
