Morning :)
Dull and freezing cold here.

Busy on here isn't it? - isn't that good :D
Happy birthday to Tom, and gotcha day to Billy, can't believe it's 5 years since you told us you'd got him!
Good plan re the yoga Ton, I had individual sessions for pilates as there were too many exercises I couldn't do, or needed tailoring.
Lovely to have your own shiny new bag Kaz, and better than buying all the gear beforehand then never using it
So did your friend discover what was her nightime friend/enemy meriad??
Hope I haven't missed anything important :)

Well Bb and T have gone off to see his mum and dad and I think go out for lunch. I was of course invited but thought it would be quite nice for them to go on their own, plus it's quite nice to have the house to myself ;)
Tonight we're going out to Prezzo (thanks Tesco vouchers), as tomorrow T is at college and then his s/father is collecting him from there to go home as he has football training Saturday morning.
Glad to say he's been no trouble at all, he has learned to go to bed at a sensible time when he has to get up for college, and to get himself up without the need for reminders. May not sound much but it's an achievement that was long overdue ;)
Here he has no distractions in the bedroom (no tv, games etc, only his phone) which helps ;)
Try and stay warm

Morning all :D

Dry but dull here today.

Jo Happy Birthday to Tom, enjoy your meal this evening, I love Indian food .

Hope you have a good session with Antonia Ton, sounds like a good plan to tailor it to suit you.

We're being lazy as usual, only just having brekkie. We'll be off out later to do the usual weekly shop, will stop for a yummy toastie at M&S before we actually get started. Also need to pop into B&Q to collect a Karcher pressure washer they have on offer. It will come in very handy for washing the new patio and driveway when necessary.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Thanks all, I've been looking for baby pics to shame him with on his Instagram account but he beat me to it by posting a picture of himself on the sofa, aged 2, with his hand in a tub of ice cream and most of the contents around his mouth  he captioned it by saying that nothing changes, he's currently sat on the sofa in their kitchen eating a tub of Ben and Jerry's

We're spoiled for Indian restaurants around here. Just along the road from where my parents live is a small shopping area - a Spar, a couple of hairdressers, a newsagents etc....and five Indian restaurants and a takeaway

Jen, a power washer is something I want to get. We were given one by mother in law, she said she didn't need it any more when she moved but when one of the nephews moved into his house she decided he needed it more than we did so she reclaimed it... :?

Di, that's something we've noticed with Joe. He gets himself off to bed at a decent hour and then gets himself up on time and is well organised when it comes to going out to college. It's a massive improvement on how he was when he was at school.

We had one in our last house Jo, but when we moved and didn't need it for a while Z pinched it and it's not been seen since. The one in B&Q is down to £60 so a good buy.

Jo I think T and Joe both hated school as much as each other, poor things.

Jen that is good, we got ours when Woolies was closing down for I think £17
I remember us looking at it and inspecting it, and saying, yep, that's definitely what it is :D

We had to have a slight change of plan

Grumpy put on his new jacket, only to find the security tag still attached   How we got out of the shop on Tuesday, without it going off, I have no idea   So we had to go to Castro Verde   Popped into the supermarket there to get the special cat treats we can't get anywhere else, then back to Ourique, to get everything we needed for tomorrow.

Sadly, no dill - not nowhere, zilch  Never mind, found some fresh mint for one of the dips.

Now going to make the dessert ;)

Di, it certainly sounds that way. Let's hope it continues!

Ton, we bought Joe's prom from Mothercare. Left the store with after paying no problem at all. Took Joe out in it to Walsall two days after he was born and we were setting off alarms everywhere we went for some unknown reason. We checked everything and eventually thought to check the pram as a last resort and there was a security tag on the chassis. Luckily there was a Mothercare in Walsall so we nipped in there and had it removed.

Happy birthday to Tom! Not such a baby any more, LOL that he was eating ice cream just like in his photo!!

Ally my eyes are watering at all those squats!!! I am seriously unfit though....my only form of exercise just now is the occasional Nordic walk, but it's a bit TOO occasional!!

Kaz I hope you enjoyed your day out with A - get you, getting a gym bag!! Very snazzy! x

I've had a nice day off - went to the GP this morning and headed over to Asda straight after, had a chat with a couple of people I know in the chemist, and then after I'd put the shopping away and had a spot of lunch I went and had a bath - in the daytime!! It was lovely and relaxing, I phoned my sister while soaking in the warm water, and afterwrds I cleaned it all out (weekly bathroom clean) and ran the hoover round upstairs. Got chicken out for tea, not sure what to do with it yet but I'm sure I'll think of something.

Last night was Jen's, mine and M (sister)'s monthly quiz night - we had a lovely meal beforehand and then got down to the business of quizzing.....we came 5th but at least we got our quiz money back! And had a giggle at the same time :)

Had snow showers and grey skies today but nothing has lain. Hopefully it won't do!!

Have a lovely evening everyone xxx
