Morning all :D

Dry but dull here again.

Glad you had a lovely evening Jo.

Enjoy your dinner party Ton.

Fingers crossed Goldie passes the MOT Kaz.

We're up late as usual, making sure we get plenty of lie ins before the boys arrive on Tuesday  Just having brekkie and then we're off into town for a few bits. No plans for this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Not really a dinner party - we don't have the room    We could possibly squeeze 4 very small ones around the table - so that's 4 of us not sitting there

So I'll be sitting in the window seat, a couple around the table and the others on the sofas

Much better when it's warmer, but they wanted to see the house and I offered food.

Just a few nibbles to begin with, then a chicken, mushroom and white wine risotto and a pud, if they want.

And a lot of alcohol

It's quite bright here now, still getting the occasional flurry of snow though.

Ton, what's for pudding?

Afternoon :)
Been getting darker all day since it got light, that's wrong isn't it?! And absolutely freezing!

Kaz when did B get a car, did I miss that or have I just forgotten? :)
Been to art this morning, enjoyed it, we were drawing donkeys using charcoal today :)
And the lovely Ron delivered his usual carton of choccies (Heroes today) to a round of applause, and like a good girl I just passed the box along :cute:
I did take a couple of my little cheesey biccies to keep me going though ;)

Hope the dinner goes well Ton, sounds like a good mixture of people :)

Cream pie Jo ;)

Three cartons of natas (cream) plus one of condensed milk, Add 3 or 4 strips of gelatine, warm through and chill, with cinnamon on top

Not for those on a diet ;)

Good afternoon all.

It's cold here, and we've had a slight snowfall this afternoon.
We've been busy this morning, having decided to de-clutter our living room.
Not having a spare bedroom the place soon becomes overcrowded with things.
It's amazing how many bits and bobs one can accumulate in a few years, isn't it?
We now have lots of items for charity shops, some so large that we have had
to arrange for them to be collected.

Hope you are all feeling well.

About a year ago D got a brand new Toyota Yaris and very kindly gave B her old one - it's been sat on our drive ever since   I did post about it at the time, I think, but it's a fair while back so you can be forgiven for forgetting :D

We went to Chorley this morning on the bus. It was after 9.30 so we did not have to pay. Only bought meat at a butchers. The shop had been recommended by a couple we go dancing with. We were given some sausages as a gift as it was the first time we had been. All the meat comes from their own farms and looks good but not cheap.
There have been a few flakes of snow but there is still some blue sky.
Now just pottering and snuggling in front of the TV tonight.
