Very wet when I got up, then it cleared a bit, then it rained again...it's dry now and has been for a couple of hours, quite sunny but oh such a chilly wind yet again.

So THIS is the post I was sure I'd posted on Friday.....don't know what happened there....

Lewis was EIGHT yesterday (you may have seen his pics on FB) so last night we went over there to share pizza and cupcakes with the birthday boy. He's a gorgeous young man, the accolade D paid him on FB is very true I'd been out bright and early to look for bedroom curtains, drove all the way to Seaton Carew which has a Range, but didn't see anything I liked, drove back along to Dunelm in Hartlepool and bought all sorts! A fab beach scene for the back wall, reminiscent of Alnmouth, and summery cream and green curtains and tie backs. I nipped into Matalan and bought L some skinny jeans and a couple of T shirts for his holidays....they're off to another friends' caravan in North Yorkshire for the weekend, plus Aunty Amy and Glamma!

Today I have popped into Durham and got the last of the bits and bobs and have spent all afternoon putting pictures up and sorting the room out. It's been sunny and breezy today, quite warm, I didn't wear a jacket

Happy 40th to Miss Osc - you certainly don't look old enough to have a daughter of that age Osc!!
