Oh heck Cromwell, families eh? I did have to smile at your crowbar remark though

(((Di))) what a horrid thing to see, that poor man :( Agreeing with you about the dogs, there were loads down in the Docks today, and it's been very warm!!

Enjoy minding Lewis, Gal :D

We've had a thoroughly enjoyable day! We sat outside to eat at Correttos, just like summer, then wandered back past the outlet shops where I bought Mick a new Gap hoodie at 40% off outlet price, then treated us to some lovely new towels for the main bathroom - Mick has redecorated in there this week! Well just resealed the bath, refreshed the grouting and paintwork, fitted a new loo roll holder as the old one had broken, but it does all look lovely!

Evening all, it has been a glorious day although with an onshore breeze to keep it a bit cool. Straight after breakfast, we assembled the three chairs we got in IKEA the other day, very pleased with them, and not a cross word between the gaffer and his apprentice  Then we walked up to Miss Osc's, Mr Osc is going to do a job on their shed on Monday, clearing it out and ripping out the old rotten shelves, so he wanted to have a look. Miss Osc and Kellie were there, then SIL and Michael, and Michael's cousin, arrived in from football. We had a nice walk on the way home.

Mr Osc had put our dinner in the slow cooker early this morning and it was ready earlier than he thought, so we had it when we got in, after which I promptly fell asleep in my chair   I've ripped back an unfinished cotton jumper and on the internet I found a little sweater I can knit for Kellie using the yarn, I will start that tonight while himself watches golf.

Kaz, I love Gap hoodies. They last so well and are a bargain in the outlets. I've got a zip up one that I inherited from Tom when he outgrew it and it's so warm and cosy.

I had a smashing one, a lilaccy colour, one of the pullover style. It belonged to B at first, but she outgrew it. I somehow lost it in the move here :cute:
