Bill's been for a long walk, the washing's on the line and John's just gone out for a bike ride on the Chase. After lunch I'm off to Stafford, I've got some shopping to do before meeting Joe for his blood test.

We went over to see Tom last night and had a lovely hour or so in the pub before going back to his flat for coffee and cookies. The reason he invited us over was to tell us that he and S, the lovely girl who stayed with us over Easter, have got together

Morning, back to flipping freezing again bl**dy east wind. I have just been to the post office, with Kellie on her scooter, so it took a while The sun is making an appearance now so she is out on the terrace with Grandad. She is going through a phase of being very clingy with Mummy but we managed to distract her quite well this morning and she has been playing happily ever since. Thinking about Jen today on this difficult day.

Afternoon
The forecast said cloudy but it's hot and sunny, so no complaints here
This morning we've been out for bacon butties, then walked up to Arroyo de la Miel, where the train station is, to have a wander around.
Such a pretty little town, lots of wide pedestrianised roads and plazas, trees, fountains, statues - and about a thousand cafes and restaurants!
We bought cakes to have later, those bacon butties are taking a while to wear off

No idea what else we're doing, will take the day as it comes.
