It is still so humid here but the sky is getting dark and there is some rumbling
in the distance. I think with any luck we may be in for a storm. The garden could
do with a downpour as could i.

We have just had a humdinger of a storm lasting about half hour.
The road is flooded. A clap of thunder sounded as if it hit something.
The lightning flashed and our electrics went off (back now)
The garden is happy and so am i as it is cooler and fresher now.
I think it is going away now.

Good afternoon all! It's grey, breezy and a much nicer temperature today although the weather apps had forecast rain from mid-morning but so far it hasn't happened. I think it'll wait until I've watered the garden myself before starting.

I walked down to town first thing and met Tom on the way back, he was on his way to Lichfield. It's his day off so he's meeting Shannon. It's just about the easiest place for both of them to get to which Tom could get a bus to (she lives in South Derbyshire) and she was driving over.

Off to the vets again tonight with Billy His paw looked to have pretty much healed last week but I think the hot weather has irritated it and it's quite swollen again. He's been wearing the cone of shame, much to his disgust, for the last three days in the hope that it'd stop him licking at it and to let the Sudocrm do it's job and it does look a bit better but I think it needs looking at again.

Right, I'm off to get my watering can....
