Good morning all.

It's dry here, but there's a rather cool breeze.

We've been shopping in town this morning, and came back loaded with
food from M&S. Luckily we caught a bus back that drops us off outside
our apartment block.

Hope you all have a pleasant week-end.

Morning all........just

Bright and sunny but windy here.

My sister and BIL set off about 10.30am heading for Winchester. They're having 2 days there and will then travel to the Devon/Cornwall border and have lots of sight seeing planned, Tintagel Castle's on the 'must do' list. They'll be traveling back towards London, with a 2 day stopover in Windsor, to meet up with us again on 29th. We're all booked into the Mercure Kensington for 3 nights before they get the Eurostar to Belgium and onward travel to Italy where they'll stay for about a month before flying back to Oz.

It's been lovely, but exhausting. Yesterday's outing to Dover Castle was great, but nearly finished me off, I was in absolute agony by the time we got back here and had a rotten night. The castle is brilliant, unfortunately E and I had to find somewhere to sit quite a few times, there was absolutely no way either of us could manage all the stairs, even S&B found climbing the main tower almost finished them off  Think their favourite day was Canterbury, it's such a lovely place to visit, lots of cobbles and the Cathedral is magnificent. Overall though I've managed quite well considering we've been out and about every day since they arrived last Saturday.

Having a reasonably lazy day now, well apart from all the washing, will leave the hovering etc until tomorrow, best to pace ourselves. We've really enjoyed having them, but must admit it's lovely having the house back to ourselves.

Hope you all have a good day :D
