Good morning all. It's supposed to be sunny here at the moment, and for most of the day, but it's grey and has just rained. I did a load of washing last night ready so that it'd be ready to go out this morning on the strength of the forecast as today was the only day showing as being dry and there's a load of bedding just finishing in the machine right now.

Billy had an early walk. I think he was relieved to get home without being dripping wet. We went out yesterday afternoon in sunshine, I took my umbrella just in case because light showers were forecast for a bit later (but it didn't look like rain was on the way) and we were about 25 minutes from home when the heavens opened and we got caught in very heavy rain. That 'light shower' lasted for nearly 3 hours

I've also done some shopping, I've treated Joe to some sushi for his lunch as he seems a bit down about the lack of progress with the hospital. He has no college today. First day back yesterday and he's timetabled this year for full days on Tuesdays and Fridays and an afternoon class every Thursday. Full time course again would you believe! Oh, and this week he doesn't need to go in on Friday.

Really pleased that Becky's enjoying her new job :D

Cromwell, that's not going to take some of the plaster away with it is it? :?

I missed whatever Jan's blip was too!

Have a good day all :D

Saundra I think its probably because they're teaching other groups too, there'll be the new school leavers starting I suppose.
I think back to the full time hairdressing course I did though and it was five full days plus one evening!

And we're back :D :D

Results will be posted to us   :cute:

And no cooked sausages in Pingo either

Sorry, thought I had mentioned the blip. Same as a few months ago, just sat down, happily reading when bam!! heart racing, pulse of the scale.

So I took myself off to Castro and they did their stuff again. But was very firmly told I need to see a cardiologist, even though the ecg and monitor showed nowt.

hence me trying to get to see the only English speaking doctor this afternoon. Dr Garcia mumbles and I have great difficulty in understanding him apart from that.

Good luck with the results Jan.

My boys used to assist in practical exams for doctors, they'd be examined by trainees while an examiner was in the room. Afterwards the doctor would leave and I'd be asked my opinion of them, I always mentioned if I thought they had poor standards of spoken English (which was often  ).

Morning all :D

Started off a bit dull, but looks like the sun's trying to peep out.

Good luck with the results Jan. Hope you get to see an English speaking doctor asap xx

Yesterday was just saying to E how nice it will be to be a visitor free zone until half term in October, and then the phone went. It was my brother asking to bring Ernie down for the day and to stay overnight, they're arriving tomorrow. Much as it will be nice to see them, I could really do without it at the moment. Oh well, looks like we'll be doing the weekly shop today.

Hope you all have a good day :D

I'm glad no-one can just "pop over" here :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: You'll enjoy it when they're with you Jen ;)

Go out for dinner and lunch, save cooking. Or make salads

Antonia and Torkiel have both come with me, to help out, and Torkiel, having lived here for 40 years said afterwards - you could be at death's door but you wouldn't be able to understand him
