Evening all, mostly a nice day here, with one very heavy shower. I got washing out early, all in nice and dry before the rain. I had a 9.45am appointment to get bloods done, arrived ten minutes early and sat waiting. Only one person came down the stairs from the nurse's room. After about 10 minutes, i.e. at my appointment time, a man arrived and was called in quite quickly. I asked the receptionist why I had not been seen, she looked it up and got a bit embarassed - apparently I had arrived early, he had arrived late for his appointment which was before mine, but she had forgotten to do the switch  Very annoying as I was fasting and in the end I wasn't seen until almost 10.15  Luckily I had a little snack and drink in the car.

Got home, had something more substantial to eat and went to the gym, and into the cafe next door for a cuppa and a chat afterwards. My sister called this afternoon, she is going to Canada on Sunday, so she brought me my birthday pressie as we will both be away. I did a few chores after that, then had a little snooze ;) Out dancing tonight.

I like the look of that restaurant, Di, I'll have sea bass please, and the peanut butter parfait for dessert :)
