Good morning Saturday

Afternoon all, it's dull but dry here. I have not been out but Mr Osc has and said it is not particularly cold. We've been busy preparing for a Halloween social dance being run by friends tonight - I have our costumes ready (he's a gangster, I'm a flapper) while he has been finalising the music, adding in some Halloween tunes. We'll have our meal early and head off around 5.00 to get there early and help them set up the room. I feel that I have some kind of cold/sore throat dose coming on so will take some solpadine to get me through the evening. I think we need to go away again for a rest Having said that, we have booked a dance weekend in Ireland on the first weekend in December

That's the trouble with holidays Osc, you always need another one to recover from the last one!

Being on permanent holiday,................

Just spoken to my brother - first time in a couple of years well, we're not a close family he's heading off to Montenegro next year and may well pop over to Portugal

I suppose living on Tenerife, it's somewhere different, anyway.

And we're hotter than him, today

Work for me this morning....was ok. Poor Jan (at work) has had a 'mare with a particular customer who is behaving terribly, the note Jan left me from yesterday sounds like she is trying to get Jan the sack - little does she know.....BUT another lady has left a lovely review on our Google review page, and I told boss it was all Jan to thank, she'd gone above and beyond for this lady, stayed back past her lunch break and gave good service, so not all bad.

So Tom and I nipped out after I got home, he spent the morning cutting grass, washing cars, hoovering inside....we went to buy a garden leaf blower from Homebase which, online, said they had one left at out local store - they lied Anyway it was a look out. Chinese and Strictly later
