In yer face is always good

Kaz, we've had quite a few window cleaners since moving here and none last more than a couple of months! I've just emailed another for a quote. The ground floor ones I can do no problem (and just have done) but there's no way I'm going up a ladder

Morning all, bright cold winter morning here, the sort of winter weather I like. I've been to the post office to pay some money off the credit card from my post office book, which I keep just for holiday money. Met Kellie with her child minder, Kellie was full of chat. They were heading to the playground then to the Insomnia coffee shop - her childminder spoils her more than we do! I'm going to the gym shortly, then I'll have a look at their Lulu Lemon gym gear as they have a Black Friday sale on - Miss Osc likes Lulu Lemon stuff so I might get something for her, it's expensive. I buy my gym gear in Lidl, or TK Maxx if I am splashing out  Might do some knitting this afternoon, then out dancing tonight.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Kaz wrote:Lissie that new quote sounds much better! It seems that new customers get all the good deals, no rewatrd for loyalty!

We found the same when we renewed out house insurance, got a much cheaper deal elsewhere, even better with £50 cash back.

We're off into town later, need more fruit and other bits.

Have a good day :D

Good afternoon everybody.
Had to defrost the car this morning before we went out shopping.
Have been to Cheshire Oaks--a a large retail outlet. We got there at 9.30 a.m and there were only a few empty places the very large car park.
We will not be going again. Bought three large boxes of chocolates in Thorntons--3 for the price of 2. Also got a new large chopping board.
Bright and sunny but it has tried to rain.
Now on the computer

Afternoon all

A rather busy morning and then bits and bobs for the afternoon. Had Carluccio for lunch today - yum!

Cruiser that would be an exception I'd think - because of Black Friday; also last Friday of the month so people will have been paid so going extra mad ;) Try it again in Feb when nothing is going on and I bet there'll be loads of parking

Out to a friends for dinner tonight and then a fairly busy weekend planned.

Have a lovely evening everyone and hope you all had a good day x

Cruiser, I agree with Ria; you need to try it at a different time. We've always gone on Saturday afternoons and have never had a problem with parking.

Evening all!

Day and a half here! Had a little lie in, shower and out the door shortly after 10 heading to Darlington....small incident on the Mway involving police cars (not me!) but it brought the road to a complete halt while they did one of those rolling road block (I think) delayed me by about 5 minutes so not too bad - but when I eventually got to Darlo, I could NOT find a space!! Went round and round, as did many others, to no avail....so reluctantly I left and was about to head home then I thought, NO I haven't got a day off to be unproductive, so I turned direction and headed to Hartlepool - a round trip of about 90 minutes from leaving the house and a quarter of a tank lighter on petrol!!!   But thankfully I struck lucky and managed to park in the huge Asda car park, and get quite a few presents in town PLUS a latte in Costa so not all lost! I also called in Dunelm and Matalan on the way back so all good :D

Got home about 3.30, starving, had a bowl of muesli (quick) and a coffee.

Morning off tomorrow as I worked yesterday morning so my time is my own! :D

Have a good Friday evening, everyone x
Gal
