Such a sad waste of life and very upsetting for many more who will in one way or another be involved.

It happennes far too often as well lessons do not seem to get learned.

Just daft kids, who now won't have the chance to grow up and learn from their mistakes. Bloody tragic

The piece of road they were on is dead straight for about a mile and on a downwards slope. It is a perfect raceway for a "joyride" in a stolen car. There are also lots of woods and playing fields on both sides all down it length

There is a traffic light controlled small cross roads just about 100 metres before the crash site and a side road on the left virtually at the site. At that time of night it would be very quiet and I wonder if something at either of those places has spooked the driver - a fox perhaps.

They stole the car and they were reckless, but still a tragedy.

That sounds very like the road my parents live on Frank. Dead straight and sloping. They've had a car career across their garden, demolishing the wall between them and next door and just a few months ago another crashed into the lamp post outside the house on the other side of them and it ended up flipping over onto it's roof.

I read about this in the papers this morning Frank - how sad for the families of the victims and what a shock for those that witnessed it. I do hope they are able to figure out just what happened.
