Snap Osc - tbh it isn't my favourite time of year to start with so I'm not at all bothered about celebrating it. I will cook us something nice later, we might have a bath and get into our PJs and just watch telly. We started to watch Gone Girl the other night but didn't get to the end so might continue with that.

The dogs are safely out of the firework zone up at the farm and Charlie isn't usually fussed about them anyway so we should be ok in that respect.

Maybe if it's a sunny day we might get out for some fresh air tomorrow!

Di, that is a lovely thing to do and I'm glad B has you two to go to and spend the evening with and not be alone.
I've got Karl and family coming by about 6ish and then we'll do the prep for a raclette, lots of chopping involved - and it's oh so yummy! I suspect they'll head home before the clock strikes 12 which suits me just fine - I don't mind not staying up and then having more of tomorrow. Mom was discharged from hospital yesterday and this morning was talking about her, my sister and niece staying up and watching fireworks from her balcony - she has more energy than I do :D
