Afternoon all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Spoke to Matthew again late yesterday afternoon. Still no movement, but at least it's day by day rather week to week now. All ops have been cancelled for today and he thinks it's very unlikely Mr Syed will resume his list this week. He says things are improving very slowly so hopefully it will be either next week or the one after that.

E's been into town for some fruit and veg, I decided to stay here and be lazy

Have a good day :D

We will all be cheering when you get the call Jen :)

Hold up with the cooker.
Was supposed to be delivered to the shop today, us tomorrow.
Phone call this afternoon to say it was missing from the delivery. Computer said one in warehouse but none there.
Email to shop said 2-4 weeks.
They were willing to refund, I held back on that to search.
Found one, could be delivered Thursday but would cost £90 more...
Phoned shop back, ummed and aahed. They offered me one for more money, then one similar.
They obviously wanted our custom
I continued to dither. The boss had a word with chap I was talking to and offered the more expensive model of the same cooker, for the same price :D
At which point I stopped dithering ;)
Now coming Friday - fingers crossed!

The cooker works Ton, though I rather let the shop think, without saying so, that we're without a working one so a 2-4 week wait was not on.
The top oven and one hob are kaput, so it's perfectly usable.
