We've had to take out about 8 inches of rain from the pool in the last 7 days and when we drove into Ourique this morning, that little pond, on the right, has filled up nicely. The fields are now waterlogged, as Portugal is mostly stone and rock but it will filter through.

We have more rain until Monday, then a couple days of sun, then a couple more wet days.

It's a puddle Ria In 3 years time we will have water brought from further up north into the Barragem de Rocha. The local councils have about 30 kms to do, which is going to take those 3 years
