We buy the nice ready sliced, sourdough and Italian rustic breads, from w/rose. Have some on day of buying, then jiggle the slices a bit so you can separate them, and straight in the freezer
It makes fab (and less fattening) garlic bread.
Line tray with foil, two slices of sourdough on it. Drizzle with olive oil then oven or grill to lightly toast.
Cut a clove of garlic in half lengthwise, rub cut side all over bread.
Save foil and use again - and again
