Ho jo I can laugh now I wouldn't even go to put my bin out I'm sure my hair was neon bright

I gave up colouring my hair when we moved and it's now a lovely colour, mostly blonde with grey highlights But that's the sun doing it

By the time we'd got back, had breakfast, done bits and bobs, it's too late for me to start cleaning. I much prefer to do it early morning, so I'm giving myself the day off Will be a windy day and that wind is cold, so I'm staying inside

Grumpy can't do the staining and painting, too windy, so he's scraping out the old grout on the walls in the bathroom and re-doing it, will look like a new bathroom

Crommers, you both have the patience of a saint.

Afternoon all, we are killing time in Southampton airport before our flight at 2.30. A very officious woman made Edward put our carryon case in one of those measure things. She said it didn’t fit, we politely pointed out that we had brought it from Dublin on the same airline with no problem. She said it had to fit in the thing but it wouldn't go all the way down - this is a new case and carefully chosen because it said it complied with carryon measurements. Edward was determined it would fit so he gave it a hard push and it fit, but not without snapping off the lock That didn’t bother us because we never use the lock anyway, but I think Officious Woman was rather shocked Then when we were going through security, a young woman was throwing a wobbly because she objected to being searched, she was so rude to the young woman searching her, who was commendably polite.

We had a lovely time and I am trying not to think about the unpacking and all the laundry to be done
