Morning all :D

Quite bright here, just as well there's a gentle breeze as it's till very muggy.

That is hot Ally :o

Gosh Crommers, wonder what was going on :? Glad to hear Auntie Violet is home.

Osc so sorry to hear about Nanna, sending love and best wishes xx

I'd have been frightened too Saundra, being on your own in the house and suddenly hearing someone calling your name is enough to spook anyone

I have physio at 2.30. Afterwards we're thinking of popping over to the carvery for a meal, there's 40% off mains for today only, seems silly to pass it up.

Havea good day :D

Hi all from a cold wet Northumberland! Ally come on now giv us a share of your heat and sunshine, we're on holiday y'know!!

I got a touch of cystitis too which I've not had for years, so of course I've got no meds and no gp to go to....So I've got some otc sachets and hope they work!

Not done much so far, being very lazy with long lie ins and some reading.

Hugs for all xxx

Good evening all!

It's been a busy few days! John's booked this week off work so yesterday we did trips to the tip with two broken up old sofas and the old armchair and a load of other rubbish too, all stuff that they don't charge for thankfully. It was a bit of a long journey as the one A road by the tip is currently closed due to the road improvements being done for the new designer outlet village and there were temporary lights near there too (unrelated to the improvements) so so it was taking well over 30 minutes to do a 2 mile journey. Once all that was done, the garage was sorted and tidied.

Today we've been to sort out some work in the boys' bathroom. The bath is very rarely used so we're having it removed and a shower installed. We've spent the afternoon in a showroom, it's just a small family run local company who refitted my Mom and Dad's bathroom and separate toilet a few years ago. The lady couldn't have been more helpful, and she's booked her husband to come around and have a look on Thursday night but she gave us a rough estimate of the price and it was surprisingly what we hoped it'd be (but thought we were being a bit optimistic). I'm sure we'll be using them as they did a lovely job at Mom and Dad's anyway.

It's rained all day today, despite the forecast saying it'd stop early afternoon.

Tomorrow, if I don't get chance to check in early, we're off plant shopping at Penkridge market.

Love to all xx
