Good morning Friday

Morning all, it is cloudy and cool here today. I’ve just had a chat on the phone with a school friend who is unable to come to our girls’ night out on Saturday week, before talking to her I had a chat with her hubby who was my first ever boyfriend! He has been quite ill, he had an op in June but was back in hospital a couple of weeks later having contracted sepsis He was in hospital for most of July but says he is gradually feeling a bit better. I’ve also vacuumed around and will be off to the gym shortly. The builder is here on his own today, no co-worker. I’ll have lunch in the cafe with some of the gym ladies and then will come home to keep knitting Kellie’s ballet Cardi - she started big school today!

I have the music on quite loud, to drown out the dogs. They are going bonkers because of sheep and cows wandering around in the adjoining fields

Kaz, that’s crazy! It’s a shame there’s no appointment system.
Surely it’d be beneficial to them too; less people waiting around and less going elsewhere if they can’t get their hair done in good time!

I’ve done the ironing, made Joe’s food for work so he’ll just have to reheat it on his break and my parcel came earlier.
