actually Ria, I had mainly ex-batts and they were tough as old boots. They dont live long, they often develop egg sac peritonitis, but they were healthier than my pure breeds

They're gorgeous Ria!

We went to Penkridge market for some plants back in June and it was livestock day, I was looking at the chickens and mentioned them to Joe when he and Amanda were off there a few weeks ago. He asked how much they were.

After they'd gone I suddenly had a feeling that he'd bring one back so I quickly texted him and told him not to :lol:
