Good afternoon everybody.
There was light rain this morning but it has stopped . Still grey sky so we may have more rain later.
Got our first C card yesterday from a couple in America who we met ona cruise several years ago. On the way home from dancing last night we were divereted off the M65. Diversion very poorly signposted. Fortunately I got onto a road which took us to the next junction.
This morning went for paper, then to chemist to pick up prescriptions. First one in at 8.15 a.m. Then to Tesco for some shopping. Had a coffe at home then into town to go to the bank. Needed more cash.
Then back home and discussed our plans for the next few days before lunch.
Then went to Aldi for more shopping.
Vibes for those who are poorly or have relatives who are not well.

Afternoon everyone :)

It's our 15th wedding anniversary today, and Mick took the day off. We've been to Cheltenham - via the Nuffield for his physio appointment - and had a mooch, and bought a few more Christmas bits and pieces. Mick got me my Christmas present - a beautiful new coat, for "best" :) I might put a link on the Boutique later.

We aren't eating out tonight, I have a very sore eye and think I might be coming down with a cold  I got some drops from the pharmacist on our way home.

15th?? Oh my....

Happy anniversary, hope you manage to celebrate when you feel up to it....I know how THAT feels!! What colour is your coat? I was given a cream/camel one back in the summer and wore it a fortnight ago - it's a Wallis and beautifully made! Lucky me!

We aren't meeting for coffee tomorrow....Anne has spent so much time at the hospital with her mum that she has too much to do to meet, so we'll have to leave it till next week. Some sad news....our other friend Pam who was diagnosed with breast cancer recently, has been in touch with me today and told me she may now have to have chemo before she has radiotherapy. Really gutted for her, I've not actually seen her since early October, both she and Anne live in a town about 15 miles away and our Aqua class is central for us all, so I think Anne has seen her and we've all clubbed together to buy flowers for her but since her mammogram was clear only last year, and she was seen quickly this year, we didn't think she'd have to have chemo....early consultations suggested cut out the lump, start radiotherapy in a few weeks and have that every day for 3 weeks, but now that's changed. She's on her own although she has a sister living close by who has been fab, but it's such a massive disappointment to learn this. I'd so appreciate some vibes for her, if that's ok x

Thanks both! :D

Gal, I know! 15 doesn't seem possible :o  The new coat is a purplish blue, a really lovely colour! I almost chose a camel one myself - yours sounds lovely, I like Wallis - but they only had a 10 (too tight on the arms) or 14 upwards, no 12s  Then I saw THE one 8-) I've posted on Boutique :) I'm sorry to hear about your friend, that's horrid. I hope the new treatment works well. Sending {{{{{{{{VV vibes}}}}}}}}} xxx

I saw the most gorgeous coat in C&A the other week. But as we said, where on earth would I wear it? We live in fleeces

Now that I don't work on a Monday or Wednesday my selection is lasting much longer.
