Hello all

Had a wonderful office party last night, but now so so tired. I was in bed just before midnight and the alarm was set to 6am; but come 5.30 I was awake; my usual wake up time. Gone are the days when I could just party on and on :D and needless to say I am VERY much looking forward to getting home tonight and having an early night :D

Thankfully it's a quiet day in the office - the beginning of the week was super busy so days like today are perfect to just catch up.

Hope you all have a lovely day and enjoy whatever it is you're up to
Jen, enjoy the last day and don't forget to pack some of that sunshine to bring home
Cruiser - happy cruising!

enjoy your day all x

Afternoon all, been on the go since I got up - to the hairdressers for 10am for cut and colour, then back to ice buns for Michael and Kellie. A quick lunch after which I collected Kellie from school. There was a power cut for over half an hour, but she and Edward put up some decorations and the crib, she and Michael will decorate our tree when he gets here shortly. Then M&K will officially turn on all our Christmas lights. Honestly, such simple things to do but I think we almost enjoy it more than they do! Have a great cruise, Cruiser, hope it is somewhere sunny and warm.

Afternoon all :)

It has belted down all day! No D around to go shopping with - she went to Lancaster to our nephew's graduation. It was his Masters in Wildlife Conservation, and he won two prizes, one for the highest pass mark, and another for the best dissertation, which is going to be published! Anyway, B is off work today, so we went to Sainsbury's, via the polling station. Pilates tonight :)

Well we had no Aquafit today, our regular teacher is on holiday and they had no cover. We knew last week but I did hope to meet up with my friend Anne for a coffee and catchup, not seen her since November 7th!! But she's had a lot on with her elderly mum (who had a fall, and now it turns out she broke her hip so has had a partial hip replacement this week - I know this via some texts flying between Anne and I) so fingers crossed we can meet up NEXT week for the last class/coffee before Christmas!! She's quite a demanding mum so I'm pretty sure poor Anne will be run ragged!!

Instead I went to the Arnison Centre and got some more pressies! Stopped in Costa for a cuppa and a gorgeous warm mince pie with cream...yum!! I've had two deliveries today when I wasn't expecting them till after Christmas! One is a garland and the other a photo mug for Jen's boyfriend, with her face on it!!

It's been VERY busy at work this week!! I've sold LOADS of pairs of glasses, you'd not think people would want to be spending that sort of money just before C but surprisingly some have!! I'm in on Saturday this week (and next! ) so I'll be soooo ready for my Christmas break!! (off from C Eve until Jan 6th!!)

I have been to vote - the polling station was busy and I stopped to chat to a lot of people I know from the village. I do like living in such a friendly place :)

Have a nice evening all xxx
