So glad that Jonathan got that sorted for you Saundra, he’s a good ‘un.

I could never forget my grandparents Saundra. On Dad’s side there’s only me and my sister as our Dad’s an only child and the cemetery is a bit out of the way up a very steep hill and it’s not on a bus route so it’s difficult for Dad to get there, although we do take him quite often but obviously it’s not a good idea at the moment, so I visit most Saturdays and make sure it’s tidy (I tell Bill that we’re going to see Enoch and May and he leads us straight to the grave). On my Mom’s side there are loads of us so they have regular visitors, which is just how it was when our Nan was alive, you could always guarantee that there’d be at least two other family members having a cuppa when you visited
I do miss them all.

Blasted antibiotics :cute:

Just come back from the centro de saude, got more stuff to clear up bladder infection.

Had to wear a mask, good job I took one ;) The doc I saw was in full white overall, face mask and changed her gloves every time she did something  Use the computer, look at my note.

The place was virtually empty though.

Afternoon everyone :)

Everyone seems to be pootling along ok, in the strange new "normal" we find ourselves in ;)

Saundra, I'm so glad the prescription stuff is sorted out :) 8-) xxx

We've had a walk, a mooch, a nice quiet afternoon here :) The beautiful flowers Mick bought me look lovely, and he's also bought me a new summer handbag :) My friend C sent me some silver earrings that arrived in the post, and Jaqs got me a pendant. I missed Em while we were out, but she popped card through the door, and we'll catch up soon :)

Planning a quiet evening, Mick's in charge of dinner! :? 8-)

It's so topsy turvy isn't it?

Got a call last night from the leisure centre to say they were closing as of today so no Aquafit class, and none likely for a long while! Disappointing but I guess inevitable, few texts went between Anne (friend there) and me, plus pics of her delicious grandson (he's 18 months!!) Plans to meet up with friends on Friday got cancelled also as Jan is now retired and has asthma so vulnerable, again disappointing but par for the course. I may as well be at work!!!! In fact I may well be asked to cover for those with children, since the schools are closing as of tomorrow night. I have said I'd be available, I find I am less stressed when working - something I NEVER thought I'd say!!

I took extreme care at the supermarket, plastic gloves and/or antibac wipes for the trolley handles, shocked to the core to see the states of the shelves. Couldn't get petrol at Asda.....I thought I needed a treat so I went to town and managed to get a latte and a cake in my regular coffee shop, handwash at the ready and he wasn't busy, there were I think three of us in, so we did social distancing.

Home and spent the afternoon doing h/work and a spot of gardening. Nice to see the new life in nature, all he buds are coming out and my peony is starting to grow, so nice to know that in these disturbing times, Mother Nature is getting on with things as normal.

It's really weird, isn't it Gal - and such a contrast to the beautiful Spring flowers emerging, and birds singing! The neighbours' beautiful magnolia is in full flower......
