Hello all, it’s a lovely Spring day here and I started it with a long walk with Bill, just me and him. We didn’t get out until about 9am and usually I avoid going that ‘late’ with him as there are too many weekend dog walkers who can’t control their dogs but we saw very few today.
I was having a panic earlier about food. We have enough for a couple of weeks, I haven’t stockpiled as I simply don’t have the freezer space and things like ‘cupboard’ goods have been unavailable, but every time I look at my Tesco order for this week things are disappearing and have the message “this item is no longer available” with nothing suggested as an alternative, plus more food will be consumed with both John and Tom home from now on and the possibility of Joe’s work closing for the time being and him being home. Anyway, John spied the meltdown about to start and braved Tesco and came home with jacket potatoes, a bag of normal potatoes, mince, sausages, broccoli, cheese, bread, milk, rolls and a nice big cake He did phone me three times though while he was there, once asking what jacket potatoes look like, then what kind of cheese to get and finally which bread do we have.
Joe bought me a bottle of Red Velvet Baileys and Tom was going to take me out for lunch one day soon but obviously that will now have to wait, he did give me a big hug though which then made me cry. I’m pretty useless emotionally at the moment
