We recieved ours from our local elected officials this morning. They are washable and reusable and make you look like Donald Duck.
I haven't worn one to date but we do have a few around the house as we buy them for working with sanding etc.
The point to note with face masks are that you are not really protecting yourself with them but everyone else around you. It has been mentioned a few time but emphasis is never really put on the point that your eyes are porous and if you get it on your skin you are going to transfer it to somether porous with your hands.
If everyone wears them, then the droplets are not there to gert into your eyes. If everyone does not, then your mask does not protect you.
I prefer the industrial masks with valves that let your breath out without steaming you up, but then it is not filtered, so defeats the purpose of wearing a mask in the first place (protecting everyone else).
If it keeps people happy I'm OK with it. If they want to do what they are told in ignorant bliss, I'm happy. Here it will be law from Monday to wear one in places where you cannot socially distance and law that one person can insist that another wears a mask.
