Great joy, we stopped on the way back and had a coffee
The post office is reverting back to government owned. The private company had made a complete mess of deliveries, mostly non delivery
and so Fatima said to wait a week or so. She'll go and see who takes over at the end of the week and sort it out. If it's Amelia, who used to work there, I an do it myself, but we don't know yet. Amelia understands my Portuguese, the young man in there just looks blankly at me Very dull and cool here and it looks like rain, so the washing won't be going out on the line. Even the cat is staying inside
I've easily managed my 10k steps as well, which is handy, as it's a fair walk there and back. Next Monday she's coming here 
It's awful the effects of this illness, not just physical either 
I can see no bruising though it is a little swollen - can only think I've gone over on it one day last week and not realised. You should see me trying to descend the stairs!! I look like a 90 year old 
So, hobbling from house into garden and back again is about the limit of it. No work for Tom this week, nobody's booking at all on this route, so he's on call technically but very VERY unlikely anyone will need him. He trimmed all the shrubs right down the side of the house (on the 'public' side) this morning and cut both lawns and edged them, they look so smart!
