Gert lush gravy and no lumps

She did it! She finally followed my lump free gravy recipe. I knew that she could do it if only she would follow simple instructions - and there's the problem, she wont.

Make an oil or butter / flour roux. (paste). Slowly add the gravy to the roux, keep going till you have a sauce (thick gravy). Job done.

Packet gravy, southern something or other. Simmer and stir for 2 minutes. Lush

I have been shown by I can't remember how many people, friends, family grandmother, aunts. I cannot make gravy without lumps.

Jan, you could do it, but you don't want to. You have a lumpy gravy reputation to uphold.

What on earth would the locals think if you produced a lump free gravy? They'd think you were French!
