The patch of green peeping through has got a little bigger, but still lots of snow on the ground brrr

Not a lot happening here, we're having roast chicken for dinner later, choccy blancmange with orange jelly for pud. I've been extra careful since my diabetic review, but we will be treating ourselves to a bottle of bubbly with dinner to celebrate Valentine's day.

Happy Valentines Day!!

My test came back positive, so I am now inside for a further 10 days I feel ok, no worse than a head cold and a cough but thankful beyond measure for the vaccine!!

It looks cold and bleak out there, roads are bad everywhere according to FB, my heating bill is gonna be massive this time!! It's barely been off this past week and a bit.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

I woke to a cuppa and a nice bunch of roses from M - he really is a good 'un I got him a carton of his favourite dark Lindt chocs We went out to B&Q - slightly less romantic to get wood filler for D and some sprouting daffs for us, to fill the pots where my bulbs aren't doing too well Then round to D's to put out her garden refuse bin as it was heavy from where the gardener has cut back her holly tree, and some sods from the lawn being scarified! Honestly, maintaining that lovely garden of hers is like looking after Kew Gardens, I swear Home to cottage pie I might get my ensuite loo installed by tonight, it will be nice not to have to cross a cold landing in the middle of the night several times
