Morning all, it’s dull but mild here.

We’ve just walked Bill, had a lovely long walk on Hednesford Hills. We were a bit later going this morning because John had to follow Tom to the local Renault dealers so that he could bring him home when he left his car for a service at 9.

I’ve got two loads of washing out drying, might start a jigsaw and I want to pop to the garden centre for a few Spring plants for the pot by the front door.
I’m also planning to make some brownies and a lasagne for dinner, it’s ages since I made a lasagne and Tom’s seeing Shannon so we can have mushrooms in it (he hates mushrooms)

Have a good day all :D

Forgot to say, what a stressful day Jen. It’s in situations like that where the NHS really lets itself down. Fingers crossed that E’s home shortly and it’s absolutely brilliant news that everything has gone so well with his hip.

Good afternoon all.
The brickies came yesterday, they've done a neat job. Unlike the original lot, who laid some of the bricks on packed sand, not mortar!
Enjoy your afternoon tea Saundra and nice to see you back Dibih.
Jen, that is just awful. I bet E is bursting to get home too. Good news about the op going well though.
Sergio is back in hospital; he was really wanting to be home too but he has a lung infection and is on antiB's. The hospital told his ex that they thought that when his lung was inflated for the procedure he had at St James, that some of the fluid they used was contaminated? It wouldn't be so bad but he says the hospital food is killing him!

Exciting, what!

This is my day too!
Have a good day everyone.

Whoop, whoop, the bed's here and set up, we also have an enhanced loo seat :D :D :D Mind you my lovely spacious extension now looks a tad crowded

E's been told his transport should pick him up at 3pm, fingers crossed he arrives home in good time.

Crommers sorry to hear about Sergio, as for hospital food E would agree with him.

Afternoon everyone :)

Usual Saturday here, up early for the SW zoom meeting. It was hard to get out of bed in time - the fish and chips were lovely last night, but I certainly paid for them with indigestion and it woke me a few times  After the meeting we took the dogs for a nice walk round the Docks, via Corretto's for a takeaway hot drink :) We called to see D and have been home for a while now.

Jen, I hope E is on that transport by now, and in his way home :D xxx

((((Cruiser))))

Crommers, best wishes for Sergio xxx

Love to all :) xxx

Afternoon all. We’ve been over in Miss Osc’s painting the playhouse (I took a “before” photo and will take an “after” photo to show you when it is finished). The outside is a nice sage green, the inside is eye-poppingly pink! It all needs another coat of paint, so hopefully we’ll do that on Monday. Miss Osc and SIL went off to do a few things while we were there, Michael’s pal called for him to go and kick a ball around a local field, and Kellie sat on the swing reading. Then Miss Osc started clearing and cutting back some of the garden so we helped with that. It was very pleasant as SIL was cutting wood and the children were running in and out - the house move has been such a success. Home now, just about to have some nice-looking roast pork for dinner.

Yayyy had mine yesterday so I can join you!! 8-) Good news re Lucy's job, and lovely to see you posting again!

Hugs for Cruiser, losing a loved one is so hard ((((((((())))))))

Evening all from a very sunny (and warm!) Durham!! 8-)

Much needed after the constant grey drizzle from yesterday....we have made the most of it and done a 7 mile walk around the local villages, taking in streams, bridges, parkland, and all socially distanced! We do live in a pretty place, much of which we take for granted. No coffee stop en route - we didn't pass one! So I just popped down to McDs for a flat white ;)

We're both under a stressful time just now, me through work and Tom through Tip. I'll be very surprised if he makes it through next week (Tip) as he seems to be failing each day....he's nearly 12, I think it's accepted he won't last for ever, but it's so sad :( Tom is constantly in bits....I'm almost wishing it would just happen so it would all come to an end....

I have had a chat on the phone with Jen which was nice - and rare!! 8-)

I'm absolutely fine after my second jab, slightly sore arm in the jab spot when I lay on it during the night, but that's all. Happy days.

Chinese tonight - zilch on normal telly so I think we'll be surfing the Netflix/Prime channels...Kaz I love f&c but like you I suffer for it afterwards! Despite Omeprazole!

Have a lovely evening xx
