We do have some football on in here, not that I'm interested but I have my books!!
I've met up with my sister-in-law Kath this morning, at Wynyard Hall Tea Rooms (google, it's lovely) we had a drink and a flapjack and then a 'woodland walk', then when we separated, I went to the big Tescos down the road from Wynyard for some bits and fresh fruit, also bought some lovely green shorts
Not sure if I have been on here much to mention, we lost John's (Donna's fiance) stepdad Billy on July 5th. He was in hospital as he'd had a HA, but there must have been complications as his organs began to shut down and the consultant actually told him he had hours to live! What a thing to be told! It's really upset John as I didn't realise until this week that his mum had known Billy for a long time, as he was John's dad's best friend, so like an uncle to John. His funeral is June 29th but we can't go, too many people, so T is going to go stand near the house to watch him leave. Also, my cousin's husband (also a John, aged 80) is in James Cook after having a 'slight HA' on BH Monday, and now has had a bypass! That happened last Thursday and he
was doing ok but is now on a ventilator as he has an infection. He's always been very fit and drives Dawn (my cousin), and my sister all over, so quite a concern.
Grey but warmish and no rain yet here, expecting it on Sunday.
