First off there was a walk with Bill, it was so drizzly when we left the woods and got onto the common that it looked like fog. Then it was back for a quick shower before walking to get my hair cut. I could’ve got the bus but there’s not a direct one from here so it’s either two buses there and two back which is a faff or walk a mile and a half up hill and then get a bus, by which time you might as well just walk the last mile and a half so I did. It was so warm when I left the salon though so I got the bus halfway back and walked the last mile and a half (it’s downhill back home). Got back just after 12, had some lunch, put some washing on and then the Tesco delivery turned up, once that was put away I cut the lawns, swept the patio and hung the washing out.
Joe went for a run when he got home from work and called into the Co Op on the other side of Cannock where his friend works. He said he struck lucky because Zak was just going on his break so he asked him for a lift home because it was too hot to run the 2+ miles back here, because it’s uphill from there too
