Morning all :D

It's been nice and sunny all morning, just come over a bit dark, don't think rain's forecast so we'll see.......

(((Kaz)))
Hope Cruiser got off okay and enjoys his holibobs.

We had a nice day yesterday, the film was brilliant, it's so nice to be doing 'normal' things again. Picked up my order from M&S, but neither of the dresses suit me at all so they'll be going back. I really struggle to find clothes I like there these days, thank goodness their underwear is still excellent.

Even though I don't follow football I'm glad we won, don't know if E will survive the stress on Sunday though

No plans for us, intend to be extremely lazy.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Re the heat Ally,

In Saudi we had no air-con in the digs so we put wet tea towels over a clothes horse / frame in front of a fan or three and had only the top windows open. They worked well and kept us comfortable. Temps of 45+ were common year round. Closing curtains and creating a draught corridor - one window open front and back - also work.

We might have new neighbours. :D :D

Sadly, the idiot is not yet selling

But these people have lived here for a few years and now want to get out of the Algarve. There are a few houses for sale and they looked at the one near us, as well as a couple of others. Like the one near us and we got on well.

Odette, Jose and Maria also came out to have a look-see

Finally we have had a sunny and warm day - no rain!!!! :) It makes such a difference - we set off along 'our' beach for the 5 mile round trip walkalong to Alnmouth and back again, after a short sit on a fairly busy beach to watch the sun on the rippling sea, and families enjoying the sun :) Oh and not forgetting a latte and a piece of caramel shortbread (me) and a pot of tea and a bacon and egg sarnie (Tom)

Once back at the caravan I have sat on the decking in the sunshine with a book, and Tom has stayed indoors as he said - quote - it was too hot!!!  Honestly if it was above 18 I'd have been surprised, although the decking is a proper suntrap! AND we could also get the towels properly dry along with some other bits. We're booked in for a meal out tomorrow night, looking forward to that. 8-)

Been thinking about you lots today Kaz, massive hugs for you all, Tom and I both know what you are going through xxxx
