good afternoon everyone

Had a busy morning, cat sitting, sorting myself and then met a friend for breakfast at 9am in a local garden centre. Got home a few hours ago and continuing with the usual usual mix of work and pootling

Happy birthday to B Kaz, hope you all enjoy the day - it sounds perfect.
Frank, hope the canopy has arrived by now?
Hope everyone else is having a good day?

I usually go with factor 30 for my face and 20 for my body if I'm going to be out in the sun for a longer period, but if it's only a short while then I usually don't bother with the factor 20 as I do quite like to get some vit D. The face always has though

Heading over to Karl and Nadine for a celebratory dinner later today; Thomas passed his driving theory test. Because of his special needs he was due to sit the exam with the allowance of extra time as well as a language interpreter (for want of a better way of describing it). Basically if Thomas didn't understand a question, this person would be allowed to rephrase it - not give the answer obviously but just rephrase. Anyway said person didn't turn up so Thomas had to sit the exam without extra time and without the assistance - and he passed!!! We're all so so proud of him and next step is for him to get his driving licence, then a car and then hopefully he'll be able to drive himself to / from college before long.

Have a lovely rest of day everyone!
