Morning all :D

Bright sunshine here 8-)

Our booster jabs went well yesterday, we both have a sore arm today, but not too bad. Hopefully it will be gone by tomorrow. Off to Westwood Cross later, need a few bits from the big Boots over there. Also have an order to pick up from M&S so will have lunch there, any excuse lol I've popped a casserole in the slow cooker so won't have to do much when we get home.

Hope you all have a good day xx

oh well Doh - I replied to the Good Morning Wednesday thread, thinking it was today's post, then just saw the Good Morning Thursday one.... so here I am again

So today is an office day; not yesterday as my reply on the other thread would indicate :-)
Jen, glad the boosters went well and no lingering side effects for you both
Jo, gosh that's an odd one re your neighbour - poor Mark; his world must be rather upside down at the moment.
Jan hopefully the windows is being collected today and enjoy the dinner
Ally & Frank, I'm usually up very early but try to not switch on the computer too early otherwise I just end up doing work work (if you know what I mean)
Kaz, hope the skirt arrives. And yes - when you read stories like yours with delivery delays then you can't blame people for using Amazon

Nothing exciting to report from me; enjoy the rest of the day everyone x

Berlimey, what a morning

No answer from my brother :?

Just got out of the shower when Joanne rang, saying they were in the area and can they come up now for the window  As her and her sister (who I know) are both estate agents, they had to have a look around the house  Very pleased with the window and wanted to give me more money, as they said it was a much better window than they thought. I refused, we'd agreed on the price, so that was it.

Off they went and so did we, as they told me to get to the squishing early, as they seemed to have given about 10 women the same time  Manuel was actually in his office, as he'd promised, so we're now up to date with the insurances.

Then the squishing. It was obviously Encalho day, as all the women there were from the local area  I was in and out before my appointment time :Hi:

Pingo was rubbish as always, pit stop for coffee, put the shopping away and my brother rang. He's put the house on the market, I'll see if I can find the link.

Weather warning for oop north, from this afternoon, we'll get it in the early hours, so the washing machine is doing a quick wash.

Phew and breathe

Good afternoon everybody.
Lots of clouds and strong winds but no rain yet.
Have been helping at one of the vaccination clinics this morning. The first persons arrived before 9.00 a.m and the doors were
closed at 1.00 p.m. Told over 700 appointments had been made and it was one continuous stream of people coming in.
Now just relaxing after lunch.
Like Ally I am usually awake early but do not post until I have had my breakfast.

Have a good day everybody

Just waiting for the rain now, I can feel it in the air.

The meal out was gorgeous :Hi: All four of us had something different and they were all really good. Just under 60€ for a litre of wine, bread, olives bits and bobs, four main courses and four coffees, with one beer.

We'll be going back.
