Morning all :D

The ground is really wet, on/off showers today

I've got the drive to Canterbury for my ankle MRI to look forward to this afternoon. We'll need to leave around 1pm, the online directions say it takes 45mins, but I've never managed to do it in under an hour. The letter says with contrast which could mean hanging around for 15mins after the scan. Fingers crossed it doesn't rain on the way there/back, also hoping it doesn't come over too dark. It will be the furthest I've driven since my op, actually I haven't been to Canterbury since last May when I took E for an orthotics appointment.

Hope you all have a good day Image

Afternoon all, it’s dull and damp out there, but not raining. Today we are going to a tour of the Dublin Custom House, recently opened to the public and free till the end of the month, so we’ll be getting the bus shortly. Miss Osc, Michael and Kellie popped in for a quick visit, they are off to Wicklow for a few days this afternoon. Right, better get ready to go >>>>>

Afternoon everyone :)

It's been a drizzly day here, but the sun came out mid-afternoon. We all went out and had a take-away late breakfast in the Quays, sitting under the huge heated awnings by the skating rink, watching the kids on the rink :) We lingered there quite a while, then went round to D's. Jeff, Jayne and Chris are up from Dorset, so we spent a pleasant few hours round there. Since getting back I have stripped the turkey carcass, making curry with the best bits, and veg and turkey soup with the rest. Apparently my apple chutney went down well with cold meat and cheese, with the Dorset Joneses, so that was pleasing to hear :D Looking forward to a restful evening.

Ally, I love a bit of Hitchcock! 8-) :) xx

That's such a shame, Crommers xx

Congratulations on the six year anniversary Jan, may there be many more :D xx

I hope the appointment went well Jen xx

Love to all xxx

Afternoon all!

I thought today was going to be a relaxing day after yesterday but I was wrong! Very wrong

We were out for most of yesterday, first at Quarry Bank Mill which was so interesting, we learnt so much about the lives of the workers and as a bonus Shannon got us in for free and met up with us again on her lunch break and gave us a bit of a behind the scenes tour. We got to catch up with her parents who were there too which was great after not seeing them since Dec 2019! Then it was back home for a quick change before heading off out to dinner with Amanda and her family, that was really lovely.

Today John’s on a site visit and I was planning on a lazy day. I walked Bill for two hours, did some washing, ironed, hoovered, went to Aldi, cleaned the kitchen, tidied around, designed and made a new baby card on the Cricut. I never did start the jigsaw I intended starting

That’s sad Crommers, it’s such a horribly cruel disease.

Have a good evening all :D
