Good morning all.
Lots of activity in our road this morning. After digging a massive hole and filling it in they are now resurfacing the cul de sac. No problem but it is a bit strange as it didn't really need resurfacing, it's like a billiard table compared to some local roads.
I hope all goes well for E Jen, and that the phone call is good news Kaz.
Happy anniversary Ally!
Sunny today but none too warm.
Have a good one everybody.

Morning all, it’s a bright enough day here and it seems to have pushed us into Spring cleaning  My brother is coming to stay for a couple of nights tomorrow so I was making sure the spare room is ok, and next thing I’m vacuuming, dusting skirting boards, tidying up all sorts of stuff. In the meantime, Edward has cleaned the oven, put silicone on a small leak in the spare  bathroom (which I’ve been asking him to do for months) and now he is washing the floors  Honestly, we must be sickening for something.

A short while ago, I messaged Edward’s sister to say we might pop to see her this afternoon, her husband has been in the hospice for a week now while they try a regulate his pain meds. She phoned me at once to say she was on her way to the hospice for a family meeting with the doctors - doesn’t sound good   :( Supermarket delivery later on. Happy Anniversary Ally and Don, hope E’s day goes well, and vibes on their way to Kaz for the phone call.

hello and good afternoon all

Kaz, sending tons of vibes
Jen, hope E is on his way back home now?
Osc, vibes coming your way as well

Everyone else, too many to reply individually sorry - hope you're having as good a day as possible?

Well the weather today doesn't quite know what it wants to do, we've had rain, sunshine, wind, grey - or a combination of any of those. I need to pop to the allotment at some point to drop off stuff for the compost bins; didn't get there yesterday. Had to phone around to find some lateral flow tests for our US boss that's stuck in his hotel.... £4.00 per test, it's a rip off!!!!! I was going to offer to post him one of the two boxes I still have, but now am very glad I didn't. At least for his the company card paid ;-)

Stay safe everyone xxx

Good afternoon everybody.

Happy anniversary Ally & family.
Decided to go to Warrington on the bus as it used to have a good market. A wated journey. It has been revamped and now consists mainly of
fod stalls and cafes. Saw one florist and a dress maker and a card stall. There used to be a good ironmongers in the old market but
that has gone together witha haberdashery stall. I will not be going again.
Not many people about even though it was nearly lunch time. It was raining when I arrived but it stopped and the sun is out now I am home.
Got a card from the council to say my postal voting papers should be delivered before the ed of the month. It would require a very big shift to
make a change. It will still be predominatly Labour. As several people have said if they put a onkey up it would get elected as a Labour candidate.

Have a good day everybody.

Evening all :D

It’s been a funny day, weather wise, either really sunny or suddenly dark and pouring down. It’s actually a mix of both at the moment.

Our column flowering cherry tree for in the back garden was delivered this morning. Can’t fault the garden centre where we got it from, it’s right on Cannock Chase over towards Stafford and the people who own it - a father and his daughter - are so lovely. We went on Sunday and spent longer chatting to them and playing with their Spaniel than we did actually looking for a tree  It was a fraction of the price of the same size trees online too and the delivery was free. We had two of the same from them last year for in the side garden and they’re doing really well.

Much love to all xx
